Standing Goose Mounts
Canada, snow, blue, specklebelly, and Ross geese — the sentry pose, the honker alert, the full-strut walker. Standing goose taxidermy built around the bird’s scale.

What makes a great standing goose mount
Standing goose mounts need to feel weighty — geese are big-bodied birds, and the pose has to read with appropriate presence. We build sentry poses (head high, neck vertical), alert walking poses, full-strut display poses, and relaxed standing variations.
Each bird is inspected, hand-skinned, fleshed, and washed before a form is matched. Custom habitat bases — field stubble, marsh edge, ice shelf, open grass — are included.
Built the right way, every time
Every mount we deliver goes through the same meticulous process — no shortcuts, regardless of pose or species.
Scale presence
Forms matched to goose size so the finished mount has the weight and height of the live bird.
Multiple postures
Sentry, alert, walking, calling, strutting — chosen to match your memory of the hunt.
Habitat bases
Stubble field, marsh edge, ice shelf, or open grass — all hand-built, all included.

Get the most out of your bird
The 30 seconds after the bird hits the ground matter more than anything we do in the studio. Follow these basics to protect your mount:
- Leave the goose whole — do not gut
- Protect feathers by smoothing flat before bagging
- Use a large bag; do not fold the neck harshly
- Label with species, date, and location
