Caribou look especially striking as pedestal mounts and turned-head shoulder mounts that showcase their unique double-shovel and tall antler frame. We also offer full-body and half-body mounts for larger spaces. We’ll help you select the pose, base, and antler presentation, and we take special care to preserve the caribou’s distinctive white mane and cape coloring.

Field Care: Protecting Your Caribou Before It Reaches Us
Caribou capes are thin-skinned and slip easily if they get warm, so speed matters even more than usual. Cool the cape immediately, keep it dry, and freeze it as soon as you can — bacterial hair slip is the number-one cause of ruined caribou mounts. Leave plenty of hide, cape carefully around the mane and brisket, and avoid dragging the animal on its cape. If you’re hunting remotely, talk to us beforehand about handling and shipping a cape back from the field. Every caribou mount is completed in-house at one of our two Wisconsin studios. Drop off at either of our two Wisconsin studios: our Jefferson studio in south-central Wisconsin or our New Franken (Green Bay area) studio in the northeast.
