Swan Mounts
Trumpeter and tundra swans mounted full-body with the wingspan they earned — North America's largest waterfowl, built for the room that can hold them.

What defines a great swan mount
Swans are the biggest waterfowl mounts we build. A trumpeter swan with wings spread can run over seven feet tip-to-tip, and the finished mount has to live in a space that can hold it — high ceilings, open walls, or a dedicated display room.
We mount both trumpeter and tundra swans, and every swan project starts with a conversation about permit documentation, display space, and the pose you want (standing sentry, flying full-span, habitat scene with nest or reeds). Tundra swans are legally harvested in a handful of states under federal quota; trumpeter swans are generally only mounted from documented salvage, collision, or permitted harvest.
Built the right way, every time
Every mount we deliver goes through the same meticulous process — no shortcuts, regardless of species.
Wingspan-ready builds
Mounts scaled properly so the bird reads at true size — not a scaled-down compromise.

We walk you through documentation requirements for swan harvest and salvage before the work starts.

Get the most out of your bird
The 30 seconds after the bird hits the ground matter more than anything we do in the studio. Follow these basics to protect your mount:
- Do NOT gut or field-dress the bird
- Smooth feathers in natural direction before freezing
- Wrap in plastic bag, press out air, label species + date
- Freeze flat; avoid bending the neck or wings
