These terms cover your use of taxidermyplanet.com, which Stehling’s Taxidermy LLC (“Stehling’s,” “we,” “us”) runs. By using the website, you agree to them.
1. Your project agreement comes first
These terms are about the website. They do not replace the agreement for your taxidermy project. Your project is governed by the written estimate, order form or receipt you receive from us. If anything on this website differs from your written project agreement, your project agreement controls.
2. Prices and information on the website
Our price list shows our published prices for standard mounts and for some standard display additions that have a set price, such as certain bases, habitat scenes and panels. Other displays, custom scenes, custom poses and other custom work are quoted individually. Rush service is available on select orders, and a rush deadline is confirmed only when we accept the order. Delivery times vary by project; contact us for current delivery times.
We work to keep prices and other information on the website accurate and current, but mistakes can happen and prices can change. Your price and options are confirmed in your written estimate.
3. Mount Planner and online estimates
Estimates from the Mount Planner, and from any other online price tool we provide, are estimates for standard options, not binding quotes. Wisconsin sales tax, delivery and any custom work are not included unless stated. Items marked “quoted” are priced after we talk with you and are never assumed to be free. Your price and options are confirmed in your written estimate.
4. Our content and photos
The text, photos, videos, logos and designs on this website belong to Stehling’s Taxidermy LLC or are used with permission. You are welcome to view them and to share links to our pages. Please do not copy, republish or otherwise use our photos or text, including in ads, listings or other businesses’ materials, without our written permission.
5. Photos, testimonials and information you send us
You keep ownership of the photos and files you send us. Photos you upload through our website are used only for quote work and are not published. This is separate from the photographs we take of our own work, such as finished mounts in our studio. Please send only photos and files you have the right to share.
Our testimonial form explains, before you send it, how we publish testimonials and asks for your permission. If you give permission, we may publish your testimonial on our website with your first name and last initial. We never publish your email address or phone number. If you would like your testimonial removed, contact us.
6. Using the website
Please do not misuse the website. For example, do not try to gain unauthorized access to it, disrupt or overload it, scrape or copy its content in bulk in a way that harms the site or our business, send spam or false information through our forms, or use it for anything unlawful. Search engines are welcome to index the website.
7. Guides and import information
Our field-care guides, import information and other articles are general guidance. Hunting, wildlife and import rules change and depend on your situation. Check current requirements with the relevant agencies or your outfitter, and contact us before your hunt with specific questions.
8. Other websites and our affiliated business
Epic Journey Design is an affiliated business through which Aaron and Austin Stehling provide museum and institutional habitat and exhibit work. These terms cover taxidermyplanet.com only, not Epic Journey Design’s website or projects.
Links to other websites, such as outfitters, government agencies, social media and maps, are provided for convenience. We do not control those websites and are not responsible for their content or practices.
9. Website availability
We aim to keep the website available and accurate, but it may sometimes be unavailable or contain errors.
10. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information you send us, including marketing emails, and information collected when you use the website.
11. Changes to these terms
When we update these terms, we will post the new version here and change the “Last updated” date.
