Flying Goose Mounts
Landing-in poses, cupped decoy-commit poses, climbing flushes, and banking turns — flying goose taxidermy that captures the full wingspan and drama of the bird in flight.

What makes a great flying goose mount
A flying goose has to earn its wall space. The wingspan is the whole point — we set each mount so the wing groups read correctly from every viewing angle, with the head position matched to the flight phase (committing, banking, climbing, flaring).
Standard flying styles, cupped decoy-commit poses, landing-in poses, and specialty multi-bird flock mounts are all part of our flying goose work. Hanging hardware, ceiling-hang options, and wall-flush installations are all available.
Built the right way, every time
Every mount we deliver goes through the same meticulous process — no shortcuts, regardless of pose or species.
Wing authenticity
Primary and secondary feathers re-set by hand after drying so the wing reads right at any angle.
Decoy-commit pose
The classic cupped and committed pose waterfowlers chase all season.
Install options
Ceiling-hang, wall-flush, or multi-bird spread — we’ll help you plan the space.

Get the most out of your bird
The 30 seconds after the bird hits the ground matter more than anything we do in the studio. Follow these basics to protect your mount:
- Leave the goose intact — do not gut
- Smooth feathers, especially wing primaries
- Use a large bag; avoid creasing the wings
- Freeze flat and label clearly

Let’s build something worth the wait
Every bird we take in gets the same standard of care. Start your project below or give us a call.
