What Specialty Turkey Poses Are Available?

A great specialty mount starts with how you handle your bird in the field. Proper care immediately after the harvest has a direct impact on feather condition and the overall quality of the finished piece. Once your turkey is in our studio, we talk through what kind of mount fits your space and your story. Here are some of the specialty poses hunters request most often:

Walking / Alert Pose — A relaxed, natural stance with the head up and alert. Great for a clean, understated display that captures the bird in its natural habitat.

Fighting Toms — Two birds squared off, necks extended, wings flared. A dramatic centerpiece for any room.

Jake Display — A younger bird in a partial display, showing off developing plumage and attitude without the full fan of a mature tom.

Perched / Roosting — A turkey set on a branch or log, as if settling in for the night. A unique option that adds vertical interest to your display.

Combination Scenes — Multiple birds in a single scene — a tom and hen, fighting toms, or a family group with poults.
