What Makes a Great Flying Turkey Mount?

Once your turkey is in our studio, we discuss the exact look you want. The flying pose is the most dramatic option we offer — it requires careful attention to wing spread, body angle, and feather alignment to create a mount that looks powerful and natural. We carefully position each primary and secondary flight feather, shape the wing arc, and angle the body to capture the explosive moment of takeoff or a graceful glide.

Every flying mount from Stehling’s is individually sculpted and hand-finished — no two are alike. Flying mounts are especially striking because of the sheer size and wingspan on display, making them a true centerpiece in any trophy room or lodge.

Turnaround time for a standard flying turkey mount is approximately 12–14 months. If you need your mount sooner, we offer rush service options starting at 180 days (+25%), 90 days (+50%), or even a 30-day super rush for select orders.
