The brothers Stehling are good people, have a great shop, and do really good work. My wife is not a fan of taxidermy. However, she is so impressed with the work that my bear will be hanging in a public area of our house rather than with the other mounts in my basement office . Enough said.

I brought Austin and Aaron the biggest buck I may ever harvest in my lifetime within a hour after loading it in the truck. I made many phone calls on which taxidermist to take it to. Glad to say, everyone had mentioned and told me to go NO WHERE but Stehlings. The peice of very detailed work I got back made the experience the best. These gentleman were constantly sending me updates and letting me know how the process was going along the way. This buck will now be attending many expos in the near future thanks to Aaron and Austin. From that point forward.. every trophy I plan on remembering for a lifetime will be going to Stehlings Taxidermy.

I was referred here by one of my hunting buddies. Within seconds of walking in their shop, I knew I was in good hands. The dozens of incredible pieces hanging on the wall speak for themselves.

I brought Austin and Aaron two ducks: a drake wood duck and a bull canvasback. They genuinely care about their customers. They sat down and asked for the stories behind both birds before guiding me through my options. They were awesome to work with and went above and beyond to make sure I was getting what I wanted.

I feel so fortunate to have two world class taxidermists less than two hours from my house. The quality of their work is second to none. I couldn’t be happier. I’ll never take a bird anywhere else.

The fish arrived today,I couldn’t have got it faster if I drove there to pick it up myself. I have never seen such a drop dead gorgeous trout mount in all of my World travels. I just can’t say enough about how great Aaron Stehling is and how grateful I am for his help. Not only does he do great work he goes out of his way to take care of his customers – something that I don’t see very often nowadays. I had personally shot a true trophy of a lifetime this past spring – an erythritic phase (red) eastern wild turkey. Realizing how rare this color phase is I knew I had to mount it. After skinning it I realized there was quit a bit of shot damage and not being a turky pro, I decided to try and get some help. I did want to do as much as I could taxidermy wise, but was just not confident enought to flesh it and mount it. I called Aaron and surprisingly he was more than willing to help. He did a great job, got the bird done ahead of what I expected, and was just great to deal with all along the way. If anyone is looking for someone to do wholesale work, I would HIGHLY recommend him. I have high standards, ethics, and am not the easiest guy to please and Aaron was the best guy I’ve dealt with in a long time! As soon as I complete the little bit of finish work on my tom I will post pics. He is a beautiful bird and I thank Aaron for doing such a great job – he deserves all the credit!
